We’ve seen across our global community of experience creators that your customers want flexible options when it comes to booking. And while booking instantly is more seamless and preferred by some, others like to ask questions and gain confidence in your business before transacting.
A recent Consumer Travel Report also found that 70% of customers made their travel and accommodations instantly online, while 30% were made after an initial enquiry. That means you could be missing out on sales by not offering enquiries on your site.

What’s the challenge?
Previously, you’ve had to accept custom booking requests via email, phone or offline, with no clear way of tracking those requests or turning them into bookings that you can track.
How do you use ‘Book by Enquiry’ for growth?
Book by Enquiry will help you:
Generate leads: Customers interested in your experience but needing more information or having requests beyond what’s listed can easily contact you, providing their contact info and details about what they’re looking for.
Demonstrate interest ahead of a launch: Considering new experiences, dates, or locations? Enquiries can help provide direction on what your community is most interested in.
Convert larger group bookings: Since the feature allows you to immediately generate recommendations, you can quickly and easily convert larger bookings (and increase basket sizes!).
How does it work?
With Book by Enquiry, you can set up a custom form that either lives on a dedicated page or within an existing page on your site, customising the fields you want your customer to fill out.
The best part: any form submissions will automatically pull through to your dashboard where you can assign a Team Member and immediately create a Recommendation of products you propose for that customer.
What are example use cases?
Generate Leads: A festival goer is interested in one of your packages but wants to book the closest accommodation to the festival to cut down on walking time. She fills out an enquiry, and you create a recommendation for her with nearby rental options, adding her to your mailing list to hear about upcoming events and on-sale dates
Demonstrate Product Interest: A sailing enthusiast wants to book a sailing trip but has already visited many of the locations you offer. You host a form on your site encouraging location recommendations, eventually deciding to add the Maldives based on popular demand. You then provide a custom recommendation to the customer so him and his friends can join the inaugural trip
Convert Larger Bookings: A woman is throwing a surprise 30th birthday for her friend and wants to request a special birthday package at your bowling and karaoke venue. You create a unique birthday recommendation, upselling her on the VIP package
